About
Thanks for checking out my site. I'm Rod, and I'm a sometime, still learning photographer.
I arrived late at the digital revolution and bought my first DSLR - first D and first SLR - in 2005. I take photographs whenever I can, which isn't as often as I'd like. This year my goal is to work more on portraits and people.
I love photographing urban things and empty spaces, and I especially love street photography and work by photographers like Jesse Marlowe, Jack Pierson and Alex Webb. My photographs have a tendency to be a bit structured (like me) but I'm trying to loosen them up a bit (like me). If I was a better photographer I mightn't need to do as much post-production, but I'm not, and I use Lightroom.
First and foremost this site is a place where I can direct people to see the best of my work. I also have a Flickr page which is less curated and has more stuff. My insta's below - yardage.
Thanks for stopping by.
